RayJuly 10, 2023Ian Hunter - “Defiance Part 1” Ian joined by a rock Who’s Who (Ringo Starr, Jeff Beck, Todd Rundgren to name a few) to produce a gem of a record! At 80+ years old, Ian’s voice is still in great form. His songwriting skills remain outstanding! Love “Guernica” and “Angel”! Vinyl quality is superb. Looking forward to Part 2!

Jeffrey SmithJune 11, 2023I'm a tad biased due to the fact my band was covering Ian Hunter/Mott tunes in the very early 70's and been a fan ever since. That said, this album is glorious, well crafted and just plain great. I really hope folks realize how fortunate we are to have been able to hear this great artist for all these years and to suddenly be treated to an album such as this. It's just damn fabulous. Thanks Ian,, you're awesome !

Theresa BovaMay 14, 2023We are really enjoying the new "Defiance 1", just what we need these days. Loving the gathering of so many great musicians together to make such a great album. Swaying to the sound of great sounds. I wish there had been a download with the album as is often done by many artists. The album arrived in pristine condition, well packed, I ordered direct from Sun Records, shipped to Canada.

Tom FabekMay 10, 2023Ian Hunter rocks eternal. Another collection of great songs. Remarkable at 84 years of age this old dude is still rocking. Summed up appropriately in the song “That’s What I’m Here For”. Ian’s voice is excellent and the guest artists on the LP support him well. Sounds wonderful on vinyl.
