Texas Moon, recorded in 1973 for Plantation Records by the legendary outlaw artist David Allan Coe, did not see release until 1977. By then Coe had moved on to Columbia, and Texas Moon remains a capture of his early career, singing evocative covers of songs written by his heroes (Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Shaver, Browne, and more) backed by his road band. On vinyl for the first time in over 40 years, this new deluxe version of Texas Moon includes previously unreleased material from the same era Vinyl Track List

    Must have

This is a must have for the vinyl collection. The album was already amazing so getting the two added songs was a great bonus. This version of Revenge is my favorite. The color vinyl is prettt cool too. I’ll jump on any a chance to get a brand new re-release of any DAC album.

Music is great, hard to beat David Allan Coe. Delivery time was about 2 1/2 weeks and vinyl was slightly warped.

    DAC at his best

This album has incredible music and the two bonus tracks are amazing.

I have to give it 5 stars but I will say I am disappointed this wasn’t remastered.

If there’s any more unreleased tracks available from Dave Allen Coach, please release them!
