Duane Betts brings a coastal chill to his new album Isle of Hope, his first on Sun Records. Recorded in the Georgia low country with GRAMMY-award winning producer Dave Cobb, Betts brings his unique blend of Southern rock and roots riffs to tracks co-written by Duane with Stoll Vaughan. Among all the fire on the fretboards is an intimate look at Duane's sobriety, the loss of his father (Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers), and his decades on the road touring in the rock and jam band worlds.

Great Album. Great guitar work on “Heartache”. Great solo at the end. That alone is worth the price. But the rest is great too. Got to see him live a couple of weeks ago. Great show. Got to meet him afterwards too. Good guy. I’m a big Allmans fan and this is just a great continuation of what that band did. Just like Govt. Mule and Tedeshi/ Trucks. Not a bad song on it.
