Ian Hunter is rock and roll.
This album stuns me, though of course it shouldn't; why would Ian Hunter fade? Why would i think time might extinguish that indomitable fire? The rocker still rocks, the writer still writes, the thinker sure as hell ain't done thinking.
I love the guy. I love this album.
Long live rock 'n roll.
Thank you, Mr. Hunter.

Another great album from a gifted songwriter and artist. Following Ian's early years with Mott and his enduring solo career highlighted by his great partnership with Mick Ronson and more recently the Rant Band, both Defiance Part 1 and Part 2 solidify Ian's status as a rock & roll treasure who is more relevant than ever.

I have loved Ian Hunter ever since his Mott the Hoople days. He continues to write great songs throughout a long and successful solo career. This new offering does not disappoint.

I have been a big fan of Ian for over 50 years. He never disapoints! He is such a brillant song writer! Its amazing the famous rockstars who love and respect him. Not one bad song on the album! It is a shame he is not in the rock n roll hall of fame!
