Ian Hunter no matter the current band or line up has been one of my most influential Musician\Rocker since "Dudes". The social acumen he includes in his songs is so accurate. Only one other Rocker that I follow has the longevity of Ian and can still deliver that would be R. Plant...another favorite and inspiration. Unfortunately so many of the older rockers have become stereotypes of what they used to be...not to be said of Ian. The artists that gathered with him to produce the Defiance Duo is such a tribute to him as an artist, musician and the music always delivers. Mott the Hoople is by far the most underrated band both for their music and musicians. Rock on Brother...if you are ever in the Columbus Ohio area I would like to meet You. Saw you in Hershey or Harrisburg Pa in 1974 backed up by Queen, in Wheeling WV with Mick R. touring with Heart. Actually served Freddie M. at the Dayton Arena about 1978. Take Care

Another rock 'n roll masterpiece from Mr. Hunter! Incredible list of players, including from MTH and the Rant band. Just an absolute delight to listen to it. Ian's pulse on our world today plus his usual self-deprecation--what a combination! So glad I pre-ordered the album!

Firstly, brilliant album from Ian Hunter, even better than Defiance Part 1, the man shows no sign of slowing down at all. Lovely red vinyl, plays brilliantly, no flaws, record was well packaged. Huge Ian Hunter fan, and hopefully I'll be able to see some of these live. One thing that would have been cool - Defiance Part 1 had a signed album sleeve, would have been great to have the same in part 2, but that's a minor quibble! Overall extremely happy!!
