Nicole Atkins supple vocals and wry songwriting make for a varied and satisfying collection of genre defying music that just gets better with repeated listening on Drama, her first LP in five years. Standouts include the modern day pop standard, Softly As You Were, the harrowing For No One, capped by Atkins' soaring voice and the epic Danny. The first single, Singing in the Mirror, packs everything that makes Atkins an original into 4 minutes of pop perfection!

Worth the wait is an understatement! Singing in the Mirror and Curtain Call are some of the best tracks of this year (or any).
