I have been a big fan of Paul Rodgers since the first Bad Co album came out. They were the very first album I bought in my youth. The band, under his leadership, was phenomenal, especially that first album. I guess I am a little biased. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this solo effort. Some of the songs reminded me of his Bad Co days, but it's a very solid effort regardless. Thanks Paul!

This new album, sounding great on vinyl, is like listening to new Bad Company. Love that he included the note Elvis sent to him. 'Paul, take time to live. Elvis'. Very good album.

Paul Rodgers has been one of my favorite vocalists ever since 1970 when I heard him for the first time with Free. He continued to be a favorite with Bad Company and on his solo efforts. His voice IS classic rock. This release continues that admiration.....his voice is as strong as ever, especially after his health issues. There is not a bad cut on the album. It ranges from straight ahead rock/blues rock ('Living It Up' , 'Photo Shooter') to ballads ('Midnight Rose' , 'Dance In the Sun'). Glad I got it on vinyl.....brings back those memories from the very first time I slapped a vinyl record on a turntable

Paul Rodgers new album Midnight Rose is another in a long line of great music. Not a weak track on this album. If you are a fan of Free, Bad Company, or any other music by Paul, pick this one up!
